ModPo goes to London

The ModPo team will travel to London in early October 2017. If you are in or near London, please plan to join us at one or both of two events that will be open to all.

The first event will be a webcast on Thursday, October 5 at 6:30 in the evening (London time). The webcast will be held at the Film and Drama Studio at Queen Mary University of London’s Mile End campus. The studio is in the Arts Two building (building 35 on this map). The webcast is open to any ModPo student or friend of ModPo. Doors will open at 6 PM and the webcast will begin promptly at 6:30.

The second ModPo event will be a meet-up and a filmed discussion at 6:30 PM on Saturday, October 7. We will discuss two poems and the video recoding of these discussions will be added to the ModPoPLUS syllabus. This event is also free and open to any ModPo student or friend of ModPo, and it will be held in the Keynes Library at Birkbeck, University of London. The Keynes Library is located at 43 Gordon Square, London WC1H 0PD. For reference, use 39-47 Gordon Square on your map. Doors will open at 6 PM, and we’ll start filming our discussion of the poem at 6:30 PM. We’ll announce the poems to be discussed a few weeks before the event.
