Nikita Kuzmin

Kuzmin received his first BA from Moscow City University (Russia) in Theory and methods of teaching foreign languages and cultures and a second BA from Tianjin Normal University (China) in Chinese linguistics and literature.  During his undergraduate study he participated in world level Chinese language contests and gained the title “Champion of Europe” in 2014. During his senior year in college he taught the Chinese language in school and also gave private lessons to children and adults. He continued his graduate study in Heidelberg University (Germany), specializing on Chinese and Japanese Studies, spending one research semester on Faculty of Letters of Kyoto University (Japan). Nikita joined UPenn in 2017 as a doctorate student in EALC.
