Undergraduate Summer Fellowship

Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program
in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies

Information about the 2020 Program will be available in January 2020.

The Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies at Penn is a full-time, 10-week Fellowship for University of Pennsylvania undergraduates. Admitted students will be awarded a $4500 salary stipend for research work with a faculty mentor. The program will begin with a short training course in R programming, and weekly journal club-style lunches will bring program participants together for research discussions throughout the summer.

On the program application, we ask applicants to select their top three choices of mentor from the list of participating faculty on this page, which will be updated in January 2020. We also require a resume, unofficial transcript, and short personal statement. The application will be available in late January 2020.

The Summer Fellowship Program is sponsored by MindCORE, Penn’s hub for the integrative study of the mind.
