Undergraduate Summer Fellowship

2019 Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program
in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies

June 9 – August 16, 2019

The Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies at Penn is a full-time, 10-week Fellowship for University of Pennsylvania undergraduates. Admitted students will be awarded a $4000 salary stipend for research work with a faculty mentor. The program will begin with a short training course in R programming, and weekly journal club-style lunches will bring program participants together for research discussions throughout the summer.

On the program application, we ask applicants to select their top three choices of mentor from the list of participating faculty below, and to attach a resume and unofficial transcript. We also require a short personal statement.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 program.

The IMB Summer Fellowship Program is sponsored by MindCORE, Penn’s hub for the integrative study of the mind.
