Weekly Fitness Classes

Weekly SASC fitness classes are available on a variety of fitness areas – yoga, meditation, walking – to all SASC employees. Clare Din is certified to teach Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. She is a Yoga Alliance certified E-RYT 200 and has completed over 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training and has over 1,200 hours of yoga teaching experience in some of the largest yoga studios in the Philadelphia area.

Yoga classes on the Penn campus are currently scheduled on demand.
Walking groups are scheduled on Fridays, 12-1pm, depending on interest.

The following yoga sequences are available:

Pre-Stretch Warm-Ups – a sequence of 11 exercises that demonstrate the fundamentals of stretching and twisting practiced in room temperature

Heaven 11 – a pre-beginner’s yoga class that emphasizes stretching and twisting practiced in room temperature

Core 26 – a beginner’s yoga class based on the 26+2 series practiced in 95°F

Core 40 – an intermediate yoga class based on 52 postures practiced in room temperature

Core 45+ – an advanced yoga class based on a subset of 84 postures practiced in room temperature
