Genre Films is seeking an intern for the summer. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in film development as they will gain experience in the operations of a Hollywood production company.
A Hollywood production company founded by screenwriter, producer, and director Simon Kinberg, Genre Films, or Kinberg Genre, is best known for its productions Mr. and Ms. Smith, X-Men Days Of Future Past, Deadpool and The Martian. Some of the company’s most recent productions include X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019), The Twilight Zone (2019/2020), Deadpool 2 (2018), and Murder on the Orient Express (2017). It is currently in production for a yet untitled Sci Fi Series for Apple’s Apple TV+ streaming service.

- Script and book coverage
- Reading and providing feedback on current projects
- Project research
- Covering desks for assistants
- General office support and organization
