Today we bade farewell to the Irish Sea-facing city of Waterford (with the quay view from our hotel room balcony) and drove all the way through Cork and out the other side of County Cork (and the town of Glengarriff, where we had lunch in a very old pub) and then into County Kerry where we are staying in the tourist town of Kenmare, poised to spend two days driving and hiking along the Ring of Kerry.
