My name is Andres Mejia, I’m from Queens, NY and currently a fifth year graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania working with Mona Merling.
I’m interested broadly in applications of homotopy theory to manifold topology. My main interests are in equivariant stable homotopy theory, equivariant diffeomorphism spaces, and algebraic K-theory.
I am a Calabi scholar the University of Pennsylvania and further supported by the NSF GRFP fellowship and Fontaine fellowship,
My favorite introduction to homotopy theory is “Rational Homotopy Theory and Differential forms (Chapters 1-3) By John Morgan and Phillip Griffiths.
