课文(二):现代富贵病 — 血液“三高”

血液“三高”,指的是高血压、高血脂、高血糖。根据中国卫生部的一项调查,中国 15 岁到 64 岁的人口中,“三高”的发生率高达 52%。这与现代人高热量饮食、运动减少和身体肥胖有关。 简单地说,现在血液“三高”的人多,是因为生活好、吃得多、活动少,所以,有人称之为“现代富贵病”。

血液“三高”严重影响健康。高血脂可以引发血栓,高血压可以引发脑出血,高血糖可以引发糖尿病。根据一项统计资料,现在中国与“三高”相关的死亡人数已经占总死亡人数的 27%。

选择健康的生活方式,可以有效地预防“三高”。

首先,要健康饮食。多吃蔬菜、水果,少吃肉,注意节制饮食,不要暴饮暴食。还要多喝茶,科学研究发现,茶叶含有多种维生素,具有预防高血脂的作用。

其次,要多运动。有氧运动健身的好方式,快步走、游泳、跳 舞、爬山等,是有氧运动最常见的形式。每天运动 30 分钟左右,每周锻炼 3-5 次。

最后,要定期体检。“三高”开始时可能没有什么症状。定期到医院进行检查,才能早发现、早治疗

Text (2): a modern disease of affluence — “three highs” in blood

The “three highs” in blood refer to hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia. According to a survey conducted by China’s Ministry of Health, the incidence of “three highs” is as high as 52% among the population aged 15 to 64 in China. This is related to a high-calorie diet, reduced exercise and obesity in modern people. To put it simply, the number of people with “three highs” in their blood is high now because they live well, eat more and exercise less. Therefore, some people call it the “modern rich man’s disease”.

The “three highs” in blood seriously affect health. Hyperlipidemia can cause thrombosis, hypertension can cause cerebral hemorrhage and hyperglycemia can cause diabetes. According to one statistic, the number of deaths related to “three highs” in China now accounts for 27% of the total number of deaths.

Choosing a healthy lifestyle can effectively prevent “three highs”.

First, eat well. Eat more vegetables and fruits, eat less meat, pay attention to diet, don’t overeat. More tea, scientific research found that tea contains a variety of vitamins and has the effect of preventing hyperlipidemia.

Secondly, exercise more. Aerobic exercise is a good way to keep fit. Brisk walking, swimming, dancing and mountain climbing are the most common forms of aerobic exercise. Exercise for about 30 minutes every day and 3-5 times a week.

Finally, have regular physical exams. The “three highs” may start without any symptoms. Regular check-ups at the hospital can lead to early detection and early treatment.
