Mushi Li

Dr. Mushi Li is a Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Pennsylvania. She joined Penn in 2018 after holding posts previously at Tufts University and Northeastern University. Her research combines quantitative and qualitative methods, and covers a wide range of topics in second language acquisition & education, linguistics, and educational psychology. Her current research projects focus on second language speech assessment and the acquisition of phonology. Dr. Li received her master’s degrees in English and Language Education, and holds a doctorate in Applied Linguistics (Language Education) from Boston University.
