Katherine obtained her PhD in applied physics from Stanford University in 2024 and BA in physics from Cornell University in 2018. She joined the group in September 2024.
Katherine is interested in strongly correlated electrons, magneto-transport properties, and the interplay between topology and interactions, primarily through a numerical lens. Recently, she is focused on understanding how quantum geometrical properties impact magnetic interactions and phase transitions.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys rock climbing, reading, and raiding S. Mart for snacks.
