SCOR WG 131 Iron Enrichment Experiment Datasets:
Thirteen ocean iron enrichments have been conducted over the past two decades. Working Group 131 of the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research has created a relational, open-access database at the Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The data comprise physical, chemical, biological and optical oceanographic measurements. The experimental data provide a valuable resource for understanding and modeling the functioning of the marine food web and carbon cycling in response to iron addition.
