We are a group of cognitive psychologists specializing in child development. Our group is lead by faculty in the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. We also collaborate with investigators across campus and other university scholars. Together our goal is to create cutting edge research projects that will help us understand how children learn. Currently we focus on language, number, scientific reasoning and brain plasticity in children.
This research would not be possible without our partnerships with parents, childcare organizations and schools throughout Philadelphia. With their participation we are able to conduct research that helps us understand barriers and opportunities for optimal learning experiences for children.
