Complex Algebraic Geometry

Fall 2021

TR 12-1:30, DRL 3W2

This year-long course will introduce students to algebraic geometry over the complex numbers. The text consists of the two-volume set:

Hodge Theory & Complex Algebraic Geometry I, II, by Claire Voisin.

This will be a hands-on course. Students are expected to read the material in advance. One meeting a week will be devoted to an example-rich review of the weeks new material, while in the other weekly session we will go over homework problems.

If you would like to take this course but have a time conflict, please let me know before the first meeting.

Introductory meeting: Tuesday, 8/21/2021 at noon in DRL 3W2.
