Paul K. Kelly, C’62, WG’64

The late Paul K. Kelly, C’62, WG’64, established this chair in 2002 to honor an outstanding member of the English faculty committed to creating a culture of writing on campus. Kelly was recognized as a leader in the investment banking and financial advisory industries. His lifetime of Penn service included leadership on the boards of the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business (chair), the School of Arts and Sciences, and Athletics. He was a member of the University Committee for Undergraduate Financial Aid and The Penn Club of New York Executive Committee and served as an officer of the Class of 1962. He was the founding benefactor of the Kelly Writers House, as well as generously supported initiatives across the University, including undergraduate scholarship and athletics support.
