Research experience and interests:
She received dual degree (M.Sc. + Ph.D.) from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India, under the guidance of Prof. Rajesh Kumar. Her Ph.D. research work revolved around understanding subtle scale physics to analyze electron-phonon interactions and quantum confinement in semiconductor nanostructures using Raman micro-spectroscopy. She also worked in the areas of electrochromic, sensing and energy storage device fabrication with a goal to understand the role of organic and inorganic materials in increasing device efficiency, using in-situ spectroscopic and electrochemical methods. Her postdoctoral research work focusses on understanding heterogeneity in local environment in organic and inorganic catalyst for fuel generation, using AFM based tip enhanced Raman spectroscopy, spectroscopic ellipsometry and in-situ electrochemical techniques.
