I am a Master’s in Physics student from Universidad de Concepción, Chile. I’m interested in Active Matter and Biological Fluid Dynamics. Using statistical mechanics and numerical simulations, I study the collective surrounding fluid effects of a sheet of microswimmers (an Active Carpet) where, through their activity, they can support and induce biogenic processes such as aggregation and mixing, that can be controlled through hydrodynamic confinement. I visited GEFLOW in the Fall of 2023, where to work on the  fluid physics and environmental basis of Active Carpets in confined-stratified aquatic environments.
