I am senior student in Physical Engineering. I work at the fluid mechanics laboratory at Universidad de Santiago, Chile. During the spring of 2023, I am doing an internship at University of Pennsylvania at GEFLOW to learn about geophysical and environmental fluid dynamics.
My interest is to use physics to understand complex systems that govern nature. Currently, I am studying the behavior of deep-water systems and how water circulation and mixing is affected by shear driven oscillatory internal motions.
Education and Career
2020 – present: “Vertical Oscillatory shearing lank stratified fluid bodies” (supervised by Professor Leonardo Gordillo Zavaleta) at Department of Physics, Universidad de Santiago, Chile.
2019 – present: Bachelor’s degree in applied physics, Universidad de Santiago, Chile.
