Anaise received her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI in 2022. During her undergraduate career, she worked with Dr. John P. Wolfe in the investigation of palladium-catalyzed alkene difunctionalization reactions to synthesize tetralin derivatives. Her research in the Goldberg group will focus on the dehydrogenation of saturated polymers to ultimately upcycle discarded plastics to more valuable specialty polymers. Outside of lab, Anaise enjoys reading, exercising, and exploring Philly with her friends.
