Walter received his B.A. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Cornell University in 2018. While at Cornell, he worked with Prof. Kyle Lancaster and Prof. Stephen Lee. Walter is currently a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Chemistry. He is jointly advised by Prof. Karen Goldberg and Prof. Tom Mallouk. Walter is investigating the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide to multi-carbon products. Outside of chemistry, Walter enjoys hiking, running, and swimming.
