Pandit is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Lester group since August 2017. He was born and raised in West Bengal, India, and graduated from the University of Calcutta (Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur) in 2011 with a B.Sc degree in Chemistry. He attended the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur from 2011 to 2013 for his Master’s degree. To pursue his Ph.D., he joined Prof. Andrew Orr-Ewing group in 2013 at the University of Bristol, UK. He spends three and half years working on Velocity map imaging of unimolecular and bimolecular reactions before moving to UPenn. Pandit is currently working with Tori and Vince on Infrared action spectra and unimolecular decay kinetics of atmospherically relevant species. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, cooking foods, and watching sports and movies.
