Anne Schou Reinholdt (neé Hansen) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Anne studied chemistry at the University of Copenhagen, eventually joining the laboratory of Professor Henrik G. Kjaergaard. Here, she studied bimolecular complexes formed in the gas phase at thermal conditions. This primarily involved IR spectroscopy, combined with matrix isolation and vacuum line techniques. Anne also gained experience with DFT and ab inito methods, useful in computational interrogations of the systems. Anne joined the Lester group in January 2019 and currently works on the IR-actions apertures detecting products formed from Criegee intermediates. Outside of the lab, Anne enjoys walking, cycling and spending time with her family.
