Mac is from NYC, and studied both Chemistry and Folklore & Mythology at Harvard College. He did research under both Eric Jacobsen and George Whitesides. He joined both the Lester and the Kozlowski groups in 2019 as a collaborative student, and primarily considers himself an organic chemist (for the time being, at least). When he is not doing chemistry, Mac enjoys photography, listening to terrible pop music, and reading trashy horror books.
