Victoria (Tori) is originally from New York, but is now a proud Philadelphian! She attended Swarthmore College, where she majored in Chemistry and minored in Educational Studies. While at Swarthmore, she performed spectroscopy research with Prof. Josh Newby. After graduating from Swarthmore, she worked for Johnson Matthey in their emission control technologies division, before coming to Penn in 2015 to pursue her PhD. Her current research focuses on the unimolecular decay of and OH production from Criegee intermediates, which she studies using infrared action spectroscopy. In her spare time, Tori enjoys baking; her lab mates are some of her most reliable taste testers!
