The Mid-Atlantic Seaboard Inorganic Symposium (MASIS) is a biennial, one-day symposium held at various locations within the Mid-Atlantic Region. MASIS 2016 will be held on July 20th at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
This roving symposium is focused on providing students with an opportunity to present their research to a diverse community of scholars, including students, post-docs, and faculty who represent all five ACS subdivisions of inorganic chemistry: Bioinorganic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry, Organometallics, Solid State & Materials, and Nanoscience. In addition to its role as a forum for communicating science, MASIS also provides inorganic chemists in the region with a means of establishing new connections related to both employment and collaboration opportunities.
