Our Program
FERBS, First Exposure to Research in the Biological Sciences, is an undergraduate fellowship program offered at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Biology focused on training and developing high-achieving undergraduate students in the biological research sciences. The FERBS fellowship initiative is focused on developing the next generation of premier scientists and leaders in STEM by providing educational, financial, and career support. FERBS brings together undergraduates, graduate students, post doctoral fellows, primary investigators, and leaders and educators in the Philadelphia community to support the holistic development of each fellow.
