We have included a few fun virtual backgrounds to use for our online symposium this year, including some with geobiology themes and vibrant colors.

Our logo is credited to Maisie O’Brien who created it for the XXVII Geobiology Symposium (2020). Please feel free to download a few and try them out!

Tip: try out the backgrounds before the symposium to see which you like best. I recommend flipping the image of your zoom background if you see that it is in reverse.

You can do this in the virtual background settings in zoom by clicking on the arrow on the video button and selecting “choose virtual background” and then clicking on the box with “mirror my video”.
