Physics demonstrations can enhance learning by providing students with powerful visuals that illuminate concepts taught in a course. When students see the physical phenomena being described, it takes learning beyond equations and problem solving.
To request a demonstration, simply send an email with the topic and demonstration. In your message, please, be sure to include the course, date, and time in which the demonstration will be needed.
Don’t see the demo you need / want? Email about that, too, and a demonstration can be created that will work well for you and your students.
To access recordings of demonstrations, visit the Penn Physics & Astronomy Lecture Demonstrations YouTube Channel. For access to archived E & M videos from Bill Berner, visit this site or Vimeo (password: PennPhysics).
