Making an Impact
Members of the Penn Arts & Sciences Professional Women’s Alliance (PWA) are committed to acting as resources for the College women who will follow in their footsteps. By connecting College alumnae with current students and recent graduates, women have the opportunity to create a greater understanding of the value and possibility that a liberal arts education offers to the workplace. In a demonstration of support for this effort, PWA advisory board members have established the PWA Endowed Scholarship Fund and created a challenge fund to allow donors to leverage their gifts.
PWA Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established by an initial gift from PWA advisory board member Lisa Thompson, C’87 and W. Kurt Meinen, parents, this fund supports a student or students in the College, with special consideration for female candidates. Gifts of any size will grow the fund and increase the PWA’s impact on the undergraduate experience.
The PWA makes a difference in the lives and careers of young alumnae.

Send a check made payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. Please be sure to indicate, either in the memo field of the check or on an accompanying note, that your gift is designated for the PWA Endowed Scholarship Fund.
