The Brain Music provides an amazing and unique opportunity to learn from the CEO of a fast-growing independent record label, publishing and management company. Clients of company talent include Lil Wayne, Shakira, Akon, Tiesto, Avicii, Jill Scott, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Enrique Iglesias, and Aloe Blacc. Joint ventures include Universal Music Group, Capitol Records, Disney, BMG Music Publishing, Verve Records, Dr. Luke’s RxSongs, and 19 Entertainment.

What to Expect:

This internship is for a student who is ready to give opinions, conduct research, and help to execute administrative and creative tasks. This position is less about prior work experience and much more about the individual — personality, intellect, work ethic, and taste. We are looking for young minds who know how to work as a team. Be prepared to do any number of creative and analytic tasks, including (but not limited to) artist management, recording studio and office management, conducting market research, and leading social media/PR initiatives. This is an amazing chance to work with some of the best and most esteemed executives and recording artists in the music industry.

Qualifications:

Are you smart, quick to absorb information, detail oriented, and extremely driven? Then this exceptional opportunity is for you! Candidates must possess an appreciation of creativity, music, pop culture, and the arts at large. Must also possess strong verbal and writing skills. Humility, strong interpersonal skills, and a general “easy to be around” vibe are essential. Must demonstrate professionalism and exercise confidentiality re: A-list celebrities and top content creators.
