Elementary Uzbek I
This course emphasizes the four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Uzbek. Main foci will be on exchanging real-life information in the context of the native-speaking environment and understanding Uzbek language through the cultural contexts.
In this course students will learn about Uzbek alphabet, greetings and introductions, commends and requests, daily routines, etiquette, weather, family, money, food, travel and leisure. An Elementary Textbook by Nigora Azimova and online materials will be used for Elementary Uzbek I and II courses.
