A blind stripling stood tapping the curbstone with his slender cane.

We’re ending the week at a strong 67% funding on Kickstarter.com, and we’re looking forward to what the next week will bring. Just a reminder to our Philadelphia area readers that at the end of it (Friday, Nov. 5 at 5:00), we will be featured on the November WHYY’s Friday Arts program and at WHYY’s Friday Arts event a half hour later. The rest of you can find the show on the web shortly thereafter.

In the meantime, here are some great comments from Rob about Kickstarter.com, why we’re conducting this campaign in the first place, and his own personal history. Well worth the read.

Over The Hump!

So  after a week and a day, we’re over the 50% mark for funding on this project. How cool is that?! We haven’t even had to start pestering people! We’ve even had the high honor of an “in memoriam” contribution. We are so grateful to all who have supported us thus far, and we want to keep that momentum going.

From the beginning, one of my favorite things about this project has been the fact that our readers help to shape it; that there’s an interaction with ULYSSES “SEEN”, rather than just a consumption of it. This Kickstarter campaign offers you yet another way in which to be a part of the project, and not just by contributing directly. Sharing this link through email and social media is HUGELY helpful and requires very little effort. It not only turns others on to our work, but also shows that you think it’s worth reading and supporting.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of you again. We couldn’t have gotten this far without you. We’ve got a lot of very cool things on the horizon, and you’re helping to make them happen. More to come…

Early success on Kickstarter.com

After one week on Kickstarter.com we’re almost 40% funded, as the box on the right shows. Thank you so much to all who have supported this project so far, and we encourage everyone to please share the link to this campaign with friends and anyone else who may be interested. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sharing forums are great for getting the word out quickly and without much effort. The more early success we show, the better, so we greatly appreciate your help.

We’ll be rolling out new sketches daily, as well, but more on that later…

We cannot thank all of you enough for reading and for your support.

Ulysses “Seen” on Kickstarter.com

We’re now on Kickstarter!  We’ve set up a campaign to help us raise money to finish our next episode, Calypso!  We’ll be showing some images of Bloom to give you a glimpse of what we’ve been up to.

The work is well underway, but a contribution from you will help us to finish it off and get ready for the next chapter.  Please take a look at our Kickstarter site and make a contribution — there are some fantastic rewards there too, including a Ulysses Seen pint glass (guaranteed to unbind the tongue of any Stephen in your life).

Here’s the link — check it out, especially the video of Rob, unavailable anywhere else…

We only receive the funding if we make or exceed our goal, so please don’t be shy about passing this link along to anyone who may be interested. That said, we’re off to a great start. After less than 24 hours, we are 11% funded.

Thanks for your interest!
