I am a Fellow and Analyst at the Center for Advanced China Research and PhD graduate in political science from the University of Pennsylvania focusing on China’s engagement in the developing world, its unique modes of doing business, and the intersection of Chinese overseas economic policy with international security. I speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and Spanish and am trained in data analytics using R and Stata. I have previously worked with the Woodrow Wilson Center, the World Bank, and in the private sector; and have served as a teaching assistant for five semesters at Penn. I hold both a Bachelor’s of Science in Foreign Service and a Master’s of Arts in Asian Studies from Georgetown University.
