Becky Wiles

Advisor: Dr. Molander

I’m a fourth year graduate student in the organic division and I do research in the Molander group. My focus is methods development at the intersection of photoredox catalysis and fluorine chemistry. I grew up in Londonderry, New Hampshire and then moved to Connecticut to get my B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Connecticut before starting my PhD at Penn in 2015. I lead PAC where my favorite events are our workshops that provide direct 1-on-1 guidance for professional skill building, and I also volunteer for special events at the Franklin Institute. Outside of lab, I’m an avid lover of yoga, baking, cooking, and eating.
