I am originally from Glen Rock, NJ and attended College at the College of New Jersey (TCNJ). During my undergraduate studies, I worked with Dr. Danielle Guarracino in synthesizing a cyclic peptide inhibitor to inhibit an important protein-protein interaction in the blood-clotting cascade pathway. While at TCNJ, I was also part of the rowing team and animal benefits club. I started graduate school at Penn in 2017 and joined the Matthews group in January 2018. Some of my favorite WiC events include regress and de-stress (therapy dogs come to visit) and W(h)ine About It. In my free time, I enjoy running along the Schuylkill River, cooking, playing with dogs in Rittenhouse square, and exploring Philadelphia.
