This project will conduct interviews with people of Iraqi and Syrian background who have been affected by the recent conflicts. The interviews will focus on the respondent’s experiences of and attitudes towards their heritage, its destruction at the hands of the Islamic State and other actors, and their attitudes to heritage reconstruction after conflict. All interviews are voluntary, anonymous and non-identifiable, and results will be uploaded to this webpage when and where appropriate.
