About
Led by Prof. Mark J. Devlin, since 1996 the Experimental Cosmology Group at Penn has been focused on the development of instrumentation to support advances in millimeter and submillimeter astronomy. To this end, we study the cosmic microwave background (CMB), high-redshift submillimeter galaxies, clusters of galaxies, as well as early galaxy formation and star formation within our own galaxy. The Experimental Cosmology Group is supported by grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
