Amitesh joined the Goldberg group in 2021. During undergrad at the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India, he worked with Prof. N. Rajesh on developing biosorbents for sequestration of chromium(VI) from aqueous media. His research in the Goldberg lab focuses on development of homogenous Pd and Pt metal complexes for oxygen atom transfer reactions. Outside of lab, Amitesh enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, breath-work and meditation, and exploring nature and cities alike.
