Eric received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Wayne State University in Detroit where he performed undergraduate research in the laboratory of Prof. Jeremy Kodanko. He then moved to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned his Ph.D. under the direction of Prof. Clark Landis. While at Wisconsin, Eric studied the kinetics and mechanism of alkene polymerization using a new chromophore quench-labeling technique to determine active catalyst concentrations. Eric joined the Goldberg lab in 2019 and is studying the reduction of carbon dioxide. Outside of lab, Eric enjoys cooking, playing and watching sports, and camping.
