Leo received his B.S. in Chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2024 from Purdue University working with Prof. Tong Ren. As a VIEST Fellow, his postdoctoral research with Profs. Karen Goldberg and Dohyung Kim focuses on electrochemically-driven alkane oxidations. Outside of lab, Leo enjoys reading, completing the NY Times daily crosswords, and exploring new cuisines.
