Are you a nonprofit or government leader with research needs? The Fels Institute of Government may be able to help. We offer several opportunities to receive pro-bono assistance from Master of Public Administration students at the University of Pennsylvania:
Fels Lab: Through Fels Lab, MPA students are matched with projects submitted by nonprofit and government organizations to complete as their capstone project degree requirement. Projects typically involve conducting data analysis, researching and making policy recommendations, creating a strategic plan, or designing and performing a program evaluation. There are two submission cycles each year. Fels Lab project proposals must be submitted by May 15 for projects to be completed by the end of the following April. Fels Lab project proposals must be submitted by October 15 for projects to be completed by the end of the following July.

Class Projects: Fels faculty regularly incorporate client projects into their courses. If you have a public finance, writing and communications, or program evaluation and data analysis need and would like one of our faculty to consider taking on your project, please reach out to Prof. Lauren Russell (lrus@sas.upenn.edu).
