Amanda Arnoff grew up in Nashua, New Hampshire. She completed her undergraduate degree at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received her B.A. in Chemistry, Thesis with distinction, under the mentorship of Professor Linda Doerrer. During her undergraduate career, Amanda synthesized and characterized Cu(I) complexes with fully fluorinated alkoxide ligands and evaluated the catalytic activity of a copper {Cu3O2} species with external organic substrates.

Currently, as a graduate student in the Mallouk group, Amanda is investigating materials for CO2 reduction.

Outside of the lab, Amanda enjoys spending time with her dog, Riley, her family, and her friends.
