Zichen Zeng grew up in Shenzhen, China. She completed her undergraduate degree at the Franklin and Marshall College, where she received B.A. in Chemistry. During her undergraduate career, Zichen studied nanoparticles’ surface functionalities.

Currently, as a graduate student in the Mallouk group, Zichen works on bipolar membranes.

Outside of the research lab, Zichen enjoys reading about science, listening to music and food.
