Dr. Jeremy Soh, Ph.D. is a psychoanalyst in private practice in Centre City, Philadelphia with an extensive professional background in Community Mental Health Services in San Francisco. He earned his doctorate in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, as a National Science Foundation Fellow studying trauma, political violence, collective memory, and alternate concepts of mind, technology and environment in indigenous worlds in the era of climate change. Alongside his clinical practice, he also serves as editor at the European Journal of Psychoanalysis (EJP), and he is a faculty member at the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis (LSP), where he teaches and supervises. He is currently writing and working on a project on Psychic and Technological Apparatuses, which examines the relation between digital and symbolic life and develops the concept of a technological drive in the present context of computerized society, with particular attention to its effects on psychic individuation and free association.
