Useful Business Objects Reports for Workday

All of the following reports and more can be found in the BI launch pad -> Public Folders -> Payroll -> HCM and Salary Management:

Current Training Status for Home Org This presents the latest available training status information regarding current University employees whose Home Org. is the one that you specify. This report includes completion status information for all of the courses that are currently assigned to the trainees (whether the trainees self-enrolled in the courses, or they were assigned by a Knowledge Link administrator or an Assignment Profile). Information on unassigned courses is included if the trainees have learning history for those courses. You can retrieve information on all of the trainees’ courses, or only those courses whose Title or Training ID matches the pattern that you specify.

Earning Types and their Descriptions

HCM – Payments and Encumbrances This report is comprised of two separate queries (Payments and Encumbrances), linked by the posted account, job class and Penn ID. The Payments query retrieves all fiscal year to date payments for employees paid from a given ORG, while the Encumbrances query retrieves the remaining encumbrance balances for employees from the same posted ORG. The queries are each represented separately on the appropriately named tabs, and, once linked (common elements are Job Class, Posted COA Account, and Penn ID), the combined results are presented on the Combined tab to show the fiscal year commitment for each person (by account and job class).

HCM – Position Review with Compensation and Cost Allocations  This report presents information from the Workday data available in the Human Capital Management universe, and can be used to review position information and associated compensation and costing allocation information established in Workday.
