Neural Coding in Speech, Language and Cognition
1:00 – 6:00pm, Thursday November 7, 2024
George Sherman Union, Boston University

How is language encoded in the brain? This year’s SLD Symposium brings together leaders in the study of the neural coding of speech, language and cognition. Attendees will hear about recent advances in the use of human brain recording and neural stimulation as humans hear and produce speech. This work has important implications for our understanding of how the brain forms and maintains generalizations about speech and language, including phonological and lexical encoding.
