FOUNDATIONS AND FRONTIERS IN ACTION

Artists-in-Residence

Artists-in-residence are outstanding creative practitioners who are based in departments and centers and work with students and faculty. They act as mentors and collaborators and consider academic, social, and cultural questions in light of their creative practices.

Recent Artists-in-Residence include:

Ricardo A. Bracho, a writer, editor, teacher, and playwright. His artistic focus is on social justice, public health, and creating art with queer and trans youth of color, Latina/o/x high risk populations, queer men of color, and incarcerated men. He’s currently the Sachs Artist-in-Residence at the Alice Paul Center for Research on Gender, Sexuality, and Women.

Jennifer Egan, C’85,  a journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of A Visit from the Goon Squad and Manhattan Beach, was Artist-in-Residence in the Department of English for the 2018-19 academic year.
