Shalini Yadav

I am Shalini Yadav originally from India. Since I have finished my master’s degree, I have been really amazed by the nature, especially plants. It is incredible how the shoot tip, known as the shoot apical meristem, plays a crucial role in coordinating the impressive growth and development of the entire plant. This fascination led me to pursue a Ph.D. in plant biology. Continuing my passion about plant development, I joined Wagner’s lab in 2020 for my post-doctoral research. Here in Wagner’s lab, my research focuses more about understanding shoot apical meristem and the molecular processes and key regulators that govern terminal flower formation. When I’m not in the lab, you will often find me exploring new places, dancing to my favorite music or play badminton.
