I was born and raised in Beijing, China until I was 18. I went to college in Tianjin, China, then to The Pennsylvania State University where I received my Doctorate in Biology. With Dr. Hong Ma as my thesis advisor, I studied drought response in Arabidopsis reproductive tissues.
I joined the Wagner Lab as a research specialist/ lab manager, where I mainly assist Doris and other members to manage and organize the lab, and at the same time, I also have my own project of testing out novel methods that could be of use to other members. During my spare time, I enjoy good food (researching, making and eating), playing mobile games, and watching all kinds of TV shows.
