About

Welcome to the Computational Behavioral Science Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. We useĀ  computational modeling, behavioral experiments, and large-scale digital data, to study how people think and decide. Although most of us are psychologists and cognitive scientists, we draw inspiration from a wide range of academic disciplines, including computer science, marketing, and neuroscience. Using interdisciplinary methods applied to diverse experimental and real-world data, we hope to build computational models that can deliberate over and respond to a large variety of everyday problems in a human-like manner. The lab is directed by Sudeep Bhatia, an Associate Professor of Psychology and Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania. You can contact him at bhatiasu@sas.upenn.edu.
