Andrew Postlewaite
Harry P. Kamen Professor of Economics
Andrew Postlewaite is Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. Postlewaite is also a Research Associate at Penn’s Population Studies Center and a Research Associate at Penn’s Institute for Law and Economics. His research interests include game theory, social norms, and behavioral economics. He has taught at Caltech, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, the University of California, San Diego, the University of Illinois and Yale. Postlewaite is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Econometric Society, The Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, and the Game Theory Society. He has served on the Council of the Econometric Society and is a past director of the National Bureau of Economic Research and The American Economic Association. He was the founding editor of the journal American Economic Journal: Microeconomics and is a past editor of the International Economic Review. He has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Economic Theory and Games and Economic Behavior.
